It’s official, Andrei Deiu is back in Dubai and back on his grind as he once again sets his sights on qualification for Mr Olympia. The Romanian Adonis took some time away from full training at the turn of the year after admitting he was slightly ‘burnt out’ following a heavy schedule of competing in 2021. After partying in Mexico and then travelling to Bali for a few days of tranquillity in the jungle, Andrei has since returned to the Golf Tiger hungrier than ever – and he’s dropped an exciting teaser for fans.
Since revealing his plans to once again compete in Mr Olympia in December, it became clear he would have to challenge in some of the upcoming summer shows to get vital qualification points on the board. The 26-year-old has so far remained tight-lipped about when we’ll see him back on stage. However, both he and seven-time Mr Olympia winner and legendary coach Hany Rambod have now hinted it may be just weeks away. Looking absolutely shredded, it’s clear Andrei Deiu isn’t taking any chances in his bid for a spot at this year’s competition – which will be held in Las Vegas in December. Having finished 7th in his last attempt, a placing Andrei has admitted he was disappointed with, we’re all excited to see him return with a vengeance as the season progresses – wherever that may be.
