Dubai Marathon 2025
The event commences on 12th January with the Marathon Elite at 6:00 a.m. on Umm Suqeim Road, opposite Madinat Jumeirah. Marathon Masses follow at 7:00 a.m., and the 10km Road Race starts at 8:15 a.m. Also, the 4km Fun Run starts at 10:30 a.m. on Al Sufouh.
Entry fees are $150 for the 42.195km Marathon (18+ years), $85 for the 10km Road Race (15+ years), and $50 for the 4km Fun Run (open to all). The registration deadline is 11th January, and further details, including the registration link, can be found on the official website.
The marathon offers impressive prize money across various categories. The Marathon Open category awards $80,000 to the first-place winner, with prizes extending to the top 10 finishers. The Marathon UAE Nationals category also offers up to AED 10,000 for the top three finishers.
That’s not all; the 10km Open category also offers prizes, with AED 7,000 awarded to the top three finishers. At the end of their races, winners receive medals and downloadable certificates.
At the Dubai Marathon 2025, runners will have a 6-hour time limit to complete the race, which will have phased road openings throughout the course. The MikaTag electronic timing system will be used to time the event, ensuring fair play.
