HYROX 365 Challenge: Everything You Need to Know About the Dubai Muscle & Active Show Return
Aspirational fitness group, GymNation, has once again teamed up with HYROX to bring eight stations of high-octane energy to the Middle East’s largest fitness expo.
The HYROX 365 Challenge, powered by GymNation, will return to the Dubai Muscle & Active show this October for its second year.
The pair launched the format at 2024’s edition, offering an abridged version of the HYROX race that lowered the barrier for entry.
This time around, GymNation says it’s going bigger, bolder, and better than ever before. Here’s what you need to know.
What is the HYROX 365 Challenge?
The HYROX 365 Challenge is a benchmark workout combining elements of a HYROX race with those of the HYROX 365 training programmes.
Much like the HYROX race, which has enjoyed a global boom in popularity over the past two years, this unique challenge features eight stations:
- Run
- SkiErg
- Sled Push
- Burpee to Plate
- Run
- Row
- Static Lunges
- Wall Balls
Rather than set distances and reps, participants push themselves for three minutes to achieve their maximum. The total workout clocks in at 31 minutes, with one-minute intervals allowed for contestants to move between stations.
Scoring is based on a points system, determined by rankings within the entire singles or doubles division. The goal is to accumulate the lowest number of points by the conclusion of the event.
For example, if you place 1st in the SkiErg, you’ll be awarded just one point. In the case of a tie, a winner will be determined by total distance covered on the run, ski, and row stations.
Over AED 30,000 of cash and prizes is up for grabs, courtesy of big-name sponsors like Myprotein, Red Bull, and Built for Athletes.
When is the HYROX 365 Challenge Taking Place?
The HYROX 365 Challenge will be held across all three days of the expo, from Friday, 24 October to Sunday, 26 October.
Singles, doubles, and Heroes of Hope are the divisions on offer. Heroes of Hope is a non-profit organisation and the largest Sports Academy supporting children and young adults with special needs in the UAE.
They’re broken down into men’s and women’s races, with a mixed doubles competition fusing the two on the final day.
Here’s how the schedule is shaping up:
- Friday, 24 October: Heroes of Hope
- Saturday, 25 October: Singles
- Sunday, 26 October: Doubles
For doubles, both team members must take part in every station. However, the exact split of workload is up to them as a team.

Entry also includes full three-day access to the Dubai Muscle & Dubai Active show (worth AED 145), which will see scores of leading global brands and influencers flock to the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City.
As an official HYROX Training Centre, you can also prepare for the challenge by taking part in one of GymNation’s weekly classes.
