Gymshark Dubai Gears Up for Second Store at Mall of the Emirates
There’s big news for Gymshark Dubai fans. The apparel giant has revealed plans to open a second store in the city as it continues its aggressive global retail push.
Founder and CEO Ben Francis flew out to the UAE in January to personally cut the ribbon on the inaugural Dubai Mall site.
The flagship marked Gymshark’s first permanent base outside the UK — although it’s now been joined by a store in Amsterdam, with another in New York under construction.
Before settling on Dubai Mall, Francis scoped out several other potential locations, including Mall of the Emirates and Jumeirah Beach.
The former must have been a close runner-up, as it’s now been picked as the venue for Gymshark Dubai’s second home.
“It’s official, Gymshark is coming to Dubai… again,” the brand posted.
“We’re excited to announce that we’re opening our second store in Dubai in the Mall of the Emirates — coming Winter 2025.
“Keep your eyes peeled for more info.”
Mall of the Emirates is one of Dubai’s premier shopping and entertainment destinations, renowned for offering everything from bougie designer outlets and luxury spa experiences to extreme sports.
It’s home to over 630 retailers, more than 100 restaurants and cafés, and Ski Dubai — the Middle East’s largest indoor ski resort.
Situated along Sheikh Zayed Road in Al Barsha, a multi-billion-dirham regeneration project was recently announced to make it even glitzier.
An additional 100 stores will call the mall home once works are finished.
They’ll be joined by a cultural hub complete with a 600-seat theatre and the mall’s first ever indoor-outdoor precinct, blending dining with interactive entertainment.
In the lead-up to their opening at Dubai Mall, Francis and Co introduced a dedicated UAE online shop featuring merchandise tailored specifically for the region.
The brand also partnered with GymNation for a month-long campaign, offering pop-up workouts, run clubs, and, of course, a generous supply of freebies.
Since its launch, Gymshark Dubai Mall has had early access to the brand’s most exclusive collections — including the cult-favourite compression line Onyx — as well as lines unavailable anywhere else.
With this latest announcement, expect even more activations as Gymshark continues to strengthen its presence in Dubai.
