Andrew Jacked lived up to his name as he claimed the Texas Pro 2022 Bodybuilding Men’s Open Title. In what was a tightly fought contest, Andrew, or Chinedu Andrew Obiekea as he’s otherwise known, came out on top after trading places on the stage with Steve Kuclo, Kamal Elgargni, and Martin Fitzwater throughout the evening.
Fitzwater clinched second place to cap off a night which saw several surprise placings in Irving. His first ever professional show, Jacked joins an illustrious list of champions such as Hunter Labrada, Sergio Oliva Jr, Phil Heath, and Flex Wheeler as athletes who won their debut contests.
The 2022 Arnold Amateur winner would have been far from the bookies’ favourite heading into the event. But at 6ft2, Jacked was the tallest man in the lineup and had muscles popping from every part of his body as he made a strong first impression on the judges. He will also go to the 2022 Olympia as a competitor for the first time, but not before he competes in the Arnold Classic UK contest.
