Meet Dubai Transform — the bold new 90-day wellness journey that’s taking the Dubai Fitness Challenge to the next level.
Dubai Fitness Challenge has already built a reputation as one of the biggest wellness movements in the region, and now it’s stepping things up again.
The launch of the new Dubai Transform scheme brings a more personal, long-term twist to the city’s fitness mission, and it’s aimed at a very specific and very powerful group – Emirati government employees.
So what exactly is Dubai Transform?
Running until 15 February 2026, Dubai Transform is a 90-day wellness program designed to help 31 participants build lasting lifestyle changes. It’s not just about hitting the gym a few times and calling it progress. This is a full-on transformation journey that covers fitness, nutrition, mental wellbeing, and all the day-to-day choices that can make or break a healthy routine.
The program was developed as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge’s wider mission to turn Dubai into one of the most active cities in the world. It builds on the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and focuses on creating long-term wellbeing habits, especially in the public sector, where the ripple effect could be huge.
What Makes Dubai Transform Different?
Dubai Transform isn’t just about showing up. It’s about real support, real results, and real change. The 31 participants aren’t just handed a few classes and a gym card. They’re given everything they need to succeed.
This includes personalised fitness training, full gym memberships, health and biomarker testing at two stages, expert nutrition consultations with meal planning, and activity tracking wearables.
There’s also weekly coaching to keep everyone on track and motivated. It’s like having a team of wellness pros in your corner every step of the way.
And they’re not doing it in isolation. Everyone in the program is already taking part in the Dubai Fitness Challenge’s wider 30×30 events, like the massive Dubai Run, Dubai Yoga sessions, and the community-favorite Fitness Villages. It means the Dubai Transform crew are totally immersed in the city’s fitness scene and leading by example.
A Whole New Level for the Dubai Fitness Challenge
Since it launched in 2017, the Dubai Fitness Challenge has encouraged more than 16 million people to get moving, and in 2025 alone, over 3 million people took part. That’s no small feat.
But with Dubai Transform, the focus is shifting from short-term bursts of activity to sustainable lifestyle change.
This isn’t about pushing everyone to suddenly run marathons. It’s about creating real wellness champions within government roles, showing what’s possible when people are supported with the right tools, structure, and motivation.
Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, put it well. He said Dubai Transform is about more than just a one-month challenge, it’s about creating “sustained, measurable impact.” These 31 participants aren’t just transforming themselves. They’re also going to inspire their teams, their families, and their wider communities to make healthier choices.
Dubai Transform Is Just Getting Started
It’s still early days for the Dubai Transform scheme, but the impact is already being felt. By focusing on the public sector, this program is targeting one of the most influential groups in the city. And by taking a 90-day approach instead of a 30-day sprint, it’s giving people the space and support to actually change their routines for good.
It also shows how the Dubai Fitness Challenge continues to evolve and grow. This is about meeting people where they are and helping them go further, whether that’s through a huge city-wide run or a small, personal lifestyle shift inside a government office.
So keep an eye on the Dubai Transform name, because chances are, this scheme is going to keep growing. And if the 31 participants smash their goals and inspire others, you might just see even more programs like this popping up across the city.
One thing’s for sure: Dubai isn’t slowing down when it comes to health and fitness anytime soon.
